This was the worst massage I ever received. For longer than I would deem necessary in any professional massage, the "masseuse" gave me shoulder squeezes; something akin to getting a quick shoulder rub from a colleague at the office for "handling that difficult situation well." She also made sure to jab me repeatedly with her elbow, but in a way that was less deep tissue massage and more like she was attempting to remove my body from my bones. It was a miserable 60 minutes. I barely contained my laughter when the receptionist tried to sell me a package. I tipped much better than the "masseuse" deserved (don't want to give Groupon a bad name!) and got the heck out of there. A waste of money and time.

I bought a Groupon to go try this spa. Made my appt days ahead. The morning of my appt, about a hour before, I got a call to change my time. This happens, someone got sick. So my appt was moved back by 1 1/4 hours. I show up on time. Greeted after a few mins, asked if I was the 12:30? Gave my groupon, which was looked over very closely. Like I was giving them a bad groupon. I was than asked what kind of massage I wanted, soft, median, or hard ect. I stated very soft due to disabilities and many health issues. It was noted in computer. The massage girl was told.
I was taken to a room, left with no instructions. Figured I undress and get on table. The girl comes back, not much said, and started massage. For the first 15-20 mins, she was very hard and ruff. I had to keep saying its to hard, hurts, go softer. Finally we got a nice flow. There was a big language barrier.
Finish up my hour. Again not much said. Got dressed, left room. I had intended to ask at front desk how much to try and come again.
However was met by my massage girl and another lady in front office. I was asked something over and over, couldn't understand. Finally figured out they wanted money. I said, No I paid up front. No they were demanding a tip. I was told over 5 times for a tip of at least $10. I said I had no more money on me, I would make it up next time I came. I was than told don't come back. During this whole time, I was blocked from leaving, felt pressured and threatened. Was talked to loudly and they were talking about me between them selfs in their language, I have never been treated or talk to like that being a customer. And stopped from leaving for a good 7-10 minutes.
Side note, this ruined any relaxation from my massage. They are also not senior or disabled friendly. No chair to sit in while undressing, just a small stool. And not step stool to get up on a rather high massage table.
I would say don't ever go here. No one has a right to demand a tip and to tell you how much too. All the while , stand in the exit so you can not leave.
Update. I ended up with trauma and damage and had to go to doctor and be put on meds. A week later, still sore and in pain. 6/27/16
