The location is great, the price was great and our room (and bed) were very nice. But the place was as quiet as a morgue - very strange considering it was a Saturday night and the Sharks were playing. Restaurant and lobby were completely dead. Also it seems like they renovated/redecorated the rooms first but the common areas - elevator, lobby, mezzanine, were still being worked on. Also they're trying to decorate all retro cool, but using pretty cheap materials/fixtures, etc. All in all it was nice and clean and I'd stay there again for the price and the location. But it could be a lot nicer.

Stayed at the Montgomery for 4 days. The room was very comfortable, clean, nice furnishing, good Internet connection and the location was perfect. And when my airport shuttle didn't show up, the girl at the desk was very helpful. I much more prefer a smaller hotel like this one than the Fairmont.
