Oh no no no. Not good. Pasta presented and tasted like it was a day old. flavorless, sticky gooey. Meatballs tasted like somebody took a hamburger patty and rounded it. No flavor, no seasoning. Awful. My dates hamburger could be outdone easily by in-and-out. And why does 2oz. of wine cost $4, but a 5oz glass costs $13? Buy three 2oz glasses and save a buck, get an extra ounce. So very disappointed. Won't be back...and that means to the hotel as well.

The service was great, but for the price the food left a lot to be desired. It's a great location but needs some work in the kitchen. Also, really $2 extra for bread?

This place has gone a bit downhill over the past few years. It was my favorite restaurant in San Jose, mainly because of the delicious osso bocco and excellent wine selection. However, the past few times I've been here in 2016, I've noticed a decline in the quality of food. Tonight's meal was horribly salty, especially my 'house salad'. I mean, really...why is the kitchen putting salt in a salad? Perhaps the feta cheese or the pistachios were salty? But is anyone in the kitchen tasting the food before it goes out to the table? I blame the chef, but also management. Also, as I sit here on a Saturday night, surrounded by empty tables, I can't help wonder if I'm right about my review. Too bad. The service has is always exceptional, but that's my why come out. I am here for delicious food. I should have gone to Namea or headed into Willow Glen. Please note, this review had nothing to do with the fact they were out of osso bucco. 😞

We just held our son's rehearsal dinner for 100 on their beautiful patio. The food was outstanding, the service was great, dealing with them was a breeze. I would highly recommend this place. It was definitely 5 stars in my book and I have attended and booked many functions similar to this function.
