We loved the tour of the ferry building! What a great way to learn about the history of the building and to also try a lot of the food from the stores. Karen was our guide and was extremely friendly & knowledgeable. Thank you Karen for giving us a great tour!

This is a true locals tour though our wonderful world of food here in SF. I have been on several of their tours (downtown oakland /mission/japan town/craft cocktails) and each time I am delighted with learning a little history, meeting the locals that make our food scene so wonderful, and of course... the food! If you are a local or a tourist, this is a really intimate way to get to know our town and feel connected to community here in SF. I'm not sure how they pick the restaurants but they do a great job and I always want to go back to each one of them for a full meal. I think meeting the people who either started the restaurant or run it, makes me feel more connected with the restaurant itself and authentically makes me want to support in the future.
I've been on a few different tours and I personally think Edible Excursions is the most complete with local food critics and authors as the guides. Can't say enough good things about this experience!

What a great way to spend three hours! Lisa and her team really know their food. Not only were the tastes delicious, but I learned a ton about the history behind the food and the neighborhood. Whether you are local or in from out of town, I highly recommend Edible Excursions as a fun and delicious experience. I can't wait to go on another tour!

I have been on 6 or 7 of Edible Excursions Tours and have loved each one! Which is why I keep booking more. The tour guides are all extremely knowledgeable of their neighborhoods as well the food and beverages served. You get the insider story on each neighborhood, not some person reading off a script. Their tours are a very good value, You will be very full at the end.

I absolutely loved the San Francisco Mission food tour I took with Edible Excursions. Their guides are all locals who are extremely knowledgeable about the San Francisco food scene and it shows. It would take me weeks to figure out where all the best places are, but the Edible Excursions tour guide was able to show our group where all the good stuff is hidden.
I highly recommend them!
