If you're trying to decide between different bus tours, absolutely choose this one. Charles was an AMAZING guide and really shows you the city from a local's viewpoint. A lot of things you wouldn't take note of on your own or find on the usual recommended tourist traps. He pointed out some really nice local places to eat, drink, etc. You can tell he knows the city well and loves his job and was super friendly and personable. He also tailored the tour a little bit around the general interests of our group to make sure we got the best experience possible. Good humor, lots of information, great photo opportunities (keep your camera out!) and great at answering questions you have about the city.
If we had taken any other tour I'm sure we wouldn't have seen so many of the amazing unique parts of San Francisco Charles took us through.

This was a the best city tour I've ever had. They really took us to places other tours didn't go. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, fun and personable, and I could tell that he really enjoyed his job. He could give us recommendations of places where we could get the same tourist-trap experiences without the wait or being overpriced. I could tell that he really has a deep understanding of the city and it's history. I had a great time.

This is a must do when you’re in San Francisco! It’s the perfect way to see some of the highlights and experience what it’s like to be a local. We had a fabulous time with Charles. He is a wealth of knowledge and made our trip around the San Francisco area so interesting. After the tour we went to several of the places he suggested as being “the best”. These were not the normal tourist spots in the City and they were all great! Definitely take this tour and request Charles! Thank you Dylan’s Tours!

So worth it. We did the all day, Day in the Bay tour (Sept 2017) and the bus was roomy and had large windows, the music and facts were amazing, and it made our day so much more relaxed and fun. We didn't hit traffic or feel rushed, and Alcatraz and Muir Woods were stunning. Great guide (Rolando) and great company to use. We never felt rushed.
Keep your camera ready at all times, because you pass amazing sights along the way.
Wear comfortable shoes, but you don't need athletic clothing
Ask questions and interact with your guide; ours was a SF native and knew so many hotspots
They had water bottles/granola bars, we brought small snacks as well, but we stopped for lunch and it was great timing.

This tour was an A+....if you are in San Francisco you MUST do this tour.
Marlin was an awesome tour guide. He knew so much history and even all the recent facts of San Francisco. He is also a great photographer. He was so willing to take pics of our family. We did the all day tour with Alcatraz. It was the best way to see SF....the only thing I would adjust is to maybe stop in China Town or Italy town. But I understand timing could be an issue. I guess we'll have to do another tour from Dylan's. But over all best tour we've been to. Will definitely recommend Dylan's Tours to family and friends and social media.
Thanks for a great day!!!

TIPS:
***make sure to tip the tour guide...they deserve it***
***Wear comfy shoes***
***The tour provides lots of water and snacks if you want***
***Park near Alcatraz Ferry or Pier 39 so when you are finished with Alcatraz you are near your car and won't have to walk 15-20min it gets cold in the evening***
