I don't have enough good things to say about this place. The food is astoundingly good. The drinks menu is varied, and their mixed drinks are excellent (special mention to their Pimm's cup, which is out of this world).
Starbelly turned out to be one of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco. Great staff, awesome atmosphere and decoration (those lit bottles!), wonderful food and tasty drinks. It tends to be packed, so plan ahead, make a reservation if possible or have a Plan B to have drinks until you get a table. It's definitely worth the wait.

A solid staple in SF. Consistently good food, nice atmosphere, and not too tough to get a table. Salads and the burger are good choices. Service isn't speedy, so don't come in a rush. Also note, all beer and wine cocktails; no hard liquor if that's your go-to.

I was pretty disappointed in the food. The market tomato salad had three wedges when we had four people at our table, c'mon. The starbelly salad was really lightly dressed. The pizzas were okay but I expected more. My friend enjoyed his Burger and the cocktails were interesting and enjoyable.

Have come in multiple times now and am finally reviewing. Have had everything from the delicious chicken and waffles to their amazing wedge salad. Their mimosas always hit the spot! Yummy! The staff was extremely respectful and friendly to my friends and I when we have come in.
Excellent restaurant. All around great vibe. Definitely recommend.

Service was subpar. Had reservations at 745, 3 other groups were seated before our party. Our starters arrived before our drinks did, we ordered beer and wine not cocktails. One of our starters was forgotten. Additionally the patio closes at 930 so you have to finish dinner or move inside, if there's room before then. We weren't notified of this until close to 830, around the time when our first round of drinks arrived. The food was decent enough, the outdoor ambience was nice but I felt rushed. Staff did not seem attentive.
