We shared Fish & Chips. A great portion for two unless you haven't eaten in 3 days. Everything fresh and delicious.

Great place and certainly worth a visit. During Fleet Week, the wait time for a table was 1.5+ hours. The outside bar was first come first serve. It was worth the visit because the view was great and the beer was cold, despite no seating.

Definitely not without tourists (myself included, a Russian couple near me) this place has a locals hangout kind of feel to it. Great place for some chowder and sourdough bread. I also tried the fish tacos which were unique and delicious. I was lucky to visit on a gorgeous day and enjoy the patio where a happy Buddha statue was lending sun hats.

We had an okay/good experience here. My boyfriend's fish and chips was excellent: not too "fishy" fish, lovely batter, and delicious fries. However, my lobster mac and cheese was a little disappointing, to be honest: edible, but it didn't have that creamy cheese taste I was looking for. The sauce was thin, and I could barely taste cheese, to the point where I wondered if the cook inadvertently left it out. I saw a couple at another table get a good cheese stretch on their mac, which I definitely wasn't getting, let alone a cheese flavor, and we went on a Saturday night, so it's possible they were busy and just missed it. The lobster and bacon flavors were sadly lacking as well. The bacon was burned, so it didn't add much, and the lobster seemed a little overcooked and not that flavorful. The dish would benefit greatly from more cheese and cooking the bacon and lobster together in the same pan that the cheese sauce will be cooked in, so that the flavors can really meld together.
The service was good. We only saw our waitress a couple of times, but the other staff took good care of us, so we never needed anything and weren't being helped. I just wonder if the tip is being split.
The live band was great, if not a little loud. We were in the back and still felt like we were shouting. But fabulous music!
I would definitely come back, though, when all is said and done.

The food was actually pretty good, but we went for happy hour and I had seen online that they do $1 oysters. I asked the waiter to make sure, and he said, "Yes, we do $1 oysters!" so I ordered a dozen. When the check came, they charged me $36 for the dozen so I asked about it and the same waiter said, "No, I can't do $1 each for a dozen, only 3-6." Would've been a convenient thing to tell me when I ordered 12. He allegedly spoke to the manager who said they couldn't take off the extra $24, so I sit here writing this review $24 poorer.
