Great menu with a wide variety of sake, cocktails, and whiskey. They occasionally have special tasting events and the owner loves to check in on the guests; I find the local feel really endearing. Solid atmosphere with relaxing music, especially nice in the back. Vegetarian options are excellent as well, definitely try the eggplant!

Nice neighborhood joint, steady business and relaxed environment. Older owner patrols about greeting guests, meals are good but not memorable, menu a bit long, quality decent and prices affordable. Clean and nicely maintained. Pop in if in the neighborhood for sure.

It's a great Japanese restaurant. During the day, the little patio inside is lovely. The menu has many options but I really liked the bento style one where you can choose up to 3 items to combine together.

Excellent sushi, one of my fav restaurants in the Mission Bay area. Last I ate there, was part of a group, and they seated us outside in very nicely decorated area that made it feel almost like Japan. Also, friendly waiters and great service. Highly recommend.

The food is great, and the service and over all feeling was particularly great. The owner came by and visited us at our seats, and the bar tenders were so personable - made recommendations enthusiastically, made jokes, and made me and my date feel super welcome. Plus the building is cool - sit at the bar and check out the structure and decor.
Would recommend to a friend! Also Julian the bartender rocks
