Amazing views of the Bay Bridge, great sushi & cocktails. Famous Happy Hour at the bar & patio
EDIT: Sadly, Chaya has now closed it's SF location. There are still 2 in LA, check them out if you're down there. Fantastic!

Really good but mostly just french food with Japanese ingredients rather than a full fusion. Then some random fully Japanese dishes. Choc croissant bread pudding was the best pastry related thing I've had in years.

Have been here a few times now and the food is always good. Add that to an amazing view of the bridge with its light display and you have a sparkly evening in the making.
Last weekend I had the San Francisco roll which included crab meat and was not bad. Pork belly appetizer was also excellent but I can never get enough of those little meat guys. Three little pieces is just a tease when you are sharing. Yum. Til next time.

Had the happy hour specials there and it was amazing. Very light and refreshing but taste was spot on. It had a nice ambience and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The staff there are like a family and it comes through in their service.

My wife and I and a friend were really looking forward to eating at this restaurant. The food was really good the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice but the server that we had was really very bad at the end of our meal. The server kept on coming to our table asking if we were done eventually she pushed us to leave. Now this was on a Sunday evening and the restaurant didn’t have anyone waiting to get a table that I could see. We're spending over $175 on our meals I didn't expect this type of treatment. This unraveled all of the enjoyment of our restaurant experience.
