Very chill beach with a graffiti wall, ample parking, and long stretches of sand dune. Very chill and accessible from anywhere in the city. Delightful!

Was great day, but when a group showed up late and asked to share, we agreed. They brought in more people and took over pit til after sunset! Next time I'll be more careful about how I share.

Trick is, you can put your own fire by creating a pit in the sand. Cool and can be COLD if SF weather wants. Only downside is you can't camp as you have to leave by 9pm

It is truly lovely. There was a lot of graffiti on the walls and the restrooms are across the street. You need good shoes to avoid the glass along theside walks. It receives 3 stars because you have a lot of freedom to have a controlled fire. Local groups were out cleaning the beach. There is plenty of parking. A lush park and near by trails.

Great place to chill on a sunny day, on a windy, overcast day? Not so much. Be weary of the hours here. You might be able to cast some fire magic here but the cops will dispel it at 9:30pm, no exceptions.
It is a really beautiful place to hang out with your friends are alone if you do not have any friends but hey who needs friends when you have a beautiful beach to walk on? There are douche buckets which litter their trash here like beer bottles, cans and all that not fun stuff so be careful where you are walking on. There also cool sand dunes where you climb on towards the streets. Also this beach is GIGANTIC, probably spreads on for a few miles from the edge of the restaurant to all the way to the beginning of the street down south! So you can pick wherever you would like to be.
Make sure to pick up after yourself and don't be that guy/girl and leave your trash everywhere because last I checked you don't have a personal maid that follows you around.
Like all popular places, make sure hide your belongings as always
