Friendly family-style 'Koryori' omakase dinner. We went for their 9-course menu as we wanted to try everything. Maybe it was the wrong decision as we ended up being overly stuffed. The food was fresh, and delicious, but the flavors were not as delicate as those in the higher end restaurants. The menus were a bit too heavy on the seafood. Regardless, we love the intimate, quiet ambient and the attentive and very polite service offered by the couple running the restaurant. They also have some high quality sake!

9 course Kyoto-style ryori omakase! A family owned restaurant with limited seating - we received unrivaled attention throughout the entire meal from the hostess who was dressed in a traditional kimono. Definitely one of the most refined/unique dining experiences!

There's something fantastic about the ways Japanese food tastes and looks. It's always fun to go out and have sushi and it's something that is even better when you're sharing so you can order many different types.
We came here on a rainy day and we walked into this small place. We were very surprised on how good this sushi was. It did make me think that the other places I like was just meh.
