Excellent location at the corner of 18th and Castro Streets! Good food, excellent drinks and a view of everything passing by through the large bay windows on the busiest corner in the Castro!

Good location and staff very friendly. Food not so great, lots of other places with better food in San Fran. Good place for coffee and drinks though.

I LOVE this place. Since I first walked through the door back in the 1980's!
The food is great, the music, the people are fun and my favorite bartender, Charlie, well he's been there for years. Always has a warm smile and makes some kick ass drinks. A BIG Aloha to the owners., thank you for keeping the landmark alive and well!!

Relaxing bistro atmosphere and wonderful food. Great drink selections and immaculate restrooms as well. Perfect for both large parties and small, family groups or a romantic date night.
Harvey's is a fantastic introduction to the life and legacy of The Castro!

Most bars in the Castro have all the ingredients for good cocktails except one good bartenders. Harvey's is the exception to the rule their bartenders are both experienced and know how a quality cocktail needs to be made without charging an inflated price for it. If you want to go someplace to relax that's not stuffy and still have a good drink without paying overpriced cocktail fees then Harvey's is your choice. Basic bar food with a twist. Love it.
