Disappointed with this rental company. One of the maintenance guys barged into the house at like 11pm without knocking and basically walked in to do some maintenance work. He apologized and said he didn't realize this place was rented for the weekend but how do you forget??? That's ridiculous. Turns out there was a gas leak which wasn't even coming from our place. The whole incident made us pretty uncomfortable. Also Our condo had old and uncomfortable beds. There was literally one wine glass. If you're going to have a wine glass, at least have two... will not be renting from this company again

We stayed at Donna's Beach House 2852 Mission Blvd. The location was fantastic! It is on the main street but just steps away from both the beach and the bay. After talking the the neighbor (a 10 year return renter) and staying there I would have to agree it is one of the best beach locations - tower 11. It doesn't get super crowded during the day due to being the furthest distance from the public beach restrooms. :) It is a very quiet area too, which was great. The house was clean and well kept. It is not an updated unit but gets the job done for a beach rental. The condo comes equip with boogie boards and beach chairs. I very much enjoyed my stay and hope to return again soon! I also have to say that this particular rental location was the only one in Mission Beach that was willing to work with my travel dates that did not fit the typical Saturday - Saturday travel which was so nice and accommodating as it gets very frustrating when trying to plan travel and you can't find a place to stay simply because they will not let you due to it not being the correct day of the week. Thanks Donna's Beach House!! Your flexibility was so much appreciated!!

We stayed at 2816 Bayside Walk, right on the bay front. The house is an older home, 2 bedroom, 1 bath. We have stayed at this home for many, many years. The house needs a lot of work. We noticed this year that it is in great need of some tender loving care. We really have loved the location of the house and the fact that it is a house and no one else is above us, behind us, etc. It would really be nice if they would put some new furniture in the living room. A sleeper couch would be nice. Very uncomfortable furniture is and has been in the place for many years. One thing about it is you can't beat the view. The kids can play at the bay and you can watch them from the front porch. The fish jump, people walk on the boardwalk, kids ride their bikes and other toys, weather is beautiful. We love staying at the beach but I think it might be time to find a new home away from home.

Stayed at Ensenada Court, about a block from the beach. The house was very nice. Obviously a little older but had rather newer appliances and fixtures, and the studio extension was a nice touch. I loved my shower. Probably one of the best I've used in years. Toilet placement in the studio bathroom was super awkward but oh well. The wifi/cellular signal had a hard to penetrating the older building materials in the studio room so that made it difficult at times.
The side, front and upstairs patios were gorgeous. The BBQ grill worked like a charm. There were bicycles ready to use, so that was convenient.
No real complaints here. Excellent property, and Tatiana from Sandy Beach Rentals was a pleasure to work with. Will definitely be returning at the end of summer.

We rented the Ensinada Court property. Block from South Mission Beach, clean and sunny, very pleased with the property. Understand that this is not a luxury beach condominium, it's more like a Cape house (if you've been to the Cape) - a small comfortable home near the beach. All the necessary amenities were there and tough to beat the location for the price. Great value.
