OMG I had no clue there were anymore Winchell's open. I bought the old time favorites ,jelly donut and apple fritter. Absolutely Heavenly just as I remembered.

Oh my goodness! I'm 51 years old, my favorite donut has always been the buttermilk bar, I am shocked to tell you that this winchells makes the absolute worst buttermilk bar I have ever had in my life!!! The density of a brick, dry, so horrible there are no words!

The 2 mexican ladies that work there make really good sandwiches. Glazed donut was on point. They also have really good freshly squeezed oj.

BEST Winchell's Donut House IN National City. the vegan soups are insanely delicious. The barristers have become our friends. I never want to move and have to find a new sandwiches place.
