I had the best veal chop I have ever had! The staff was attentive and we sat in a booth with two kids who enjoyed their kids meals of salmon and fetucinni alfredo. I will definitely eat there again!

My husband and I stayed at The Del and enjoyed a fabulous dinner @1500 Ocean. Our waiter was Leo and he was the best!! He recommended our meals and both my husband and I were in heaven!! Thanks Leo, and the chefs for a wonderful evening👍👍!!

I couldn't help but think that this is how boring, rich people eat. Don't get me wrong, I've been here twice and everything is "good," but entirely uninspired, and certainly not worth what I paid for it. I gathered from past critic reviews that 1500 Ocean, at one time in the not-too-distant past, was willing to push a few boundaries and serve meals that were not de rigueur staples in country club cuisine.
Those who follow my reviews know that I usually put more effort into reviewing restaurants, but I simply can't be bothered to put more time and energy into a review of a restaurant than the establishment put into creating their menu.

We dine at 1500 on a regular basis. Fantastic staff and well prepared food. Great views and large wine selection (however I usually just have a Clooney on the rocks). We typically sit at the outside bar near a fire pit. I'm a fan of the lamb, and any of the fresh fish dishes. We love the staff, and are spoiled every time we visit. Can't go wrong here, just don't take my fire pit.
