Always a great place. .....for happy hour. Friday from 4pm on they have food. Strong drinks for less than 4 bucks. Better than downtown where they charge twice as much and weak drinks.

You know those karaoke bars you go to where everyone is an awesome human and sings along all together? Yeah, The Caliph is the best. It's one of those bars where you go to get wasted (or show up wasted) and make 10 new best friends. I've been looking for something similar to the Crescent in San Diego since I moved down here found it!' Come prepared though- they are cash only and have a 2 drink minimum. The bartender will tap you on the shoulder to remind you if you haven't ordered anything.
