Great local metal bar. No nonsense dive bar feel with WAY above average music. Staff is friendly. Treat them right and they'll do the same. Good selection of craft beers.

Extremely disappointed in this venue. Booked a trip out to San Diego to see a band I liked, City of Caterpillar, as they were doing a reunion tour and they will likely not be playing together again once their tour ends. The venue is small which isn't necessarily a bad thing but the sound system was so awful it kind of ruined the show. The vocals from both singers were non-existent. I could not hear a single word from them for their whole set. After their first song, one of the singers asked for their volume to be turned up and I still couldn't hear a damn thing from him. This venue is extremely small, it shouldn't be difficult to set up the sound correctly. There are garage shows with better sound than this place.
This band will likely never do another tour again after this so to see them at this venue was just disappointing.

Really cool bar, many local craft beer options, friendly staff, also really good stage, light and sound system for the band performing!

Really enjoyed the live music. The Bloodflowers hard driving rock and roll band got me on the dance floor. One of the best bands in San Diego! The craft beer was pricy at $8 per pint. But the well liquor and other beer was reasonable. The round booth seating is very comfortable. The bar stools not so much. It's a friendly place to go. I'll be back.

Great to see Peter Bradley Adams but there was one guy with big hair and a big hat blocking the view for many of us. Someone should have offered him a chair. Otherwise I was comfortable. Parking was difficult, be prepared to WALK from a long distance.
