The food and drinks are amazing! I have had nothing bit the best experience here. Patrick was our waiter and he had great suggestions on food and drinks!

I went to the Brooklyn Grill today in Mission Hills today for a bday lunch with my daughter. This was my second time there in four years and was very much looking forward to great service and good food. They had an elderly male hostess and only one waitress, for the entire restaurant. Both dressed in jeans and looking a bit disheveled. Admittedly, there were not that many customers but they certainly could have used at least one more waitress. We ordered an entree. The entree was satisfactory, nothing exceptional. We finished the entree within fifteen minutes. It took at least another ten to fifteen minutes before receiving our main course. My daughter ordered a hamburger with fry's. She received a hamburger and a salad? She said the hamburger was large but the flavor was not exceptional. The waitress apologized and offered to replace the salad. We politely ignored the mistake and accepted the salad. I ordered the Fresh Salmon Salad - which was not fresh and the salmon tasted like it had been microwaved. I could continue but a $65.00 lunch, plus a twenty percent tip, was absurd. We could have had better service and better food at the Chicago Pizzeria across the street for a third of the price. This is another example of a San Diego restaurant that starts out with a big bang and becomes complacent and eventually starts self reflecting when they are...............

Had a great experience at Brooklyn Girl! The atmosphere was quaint and casual, but sophisticated. The waiter gave us several suggestions for each course starting with drinks down to desert. The Vietnamese meatballs were awesome! I had the crab ravioli and it was all homemade. My husband had a burger that was perfection. For desert we shared an amazing piece of chocolate cake. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for farm to table goodness!!

This place was awesome, I loved the decor and the atmosphere. The manager is awesome and very nice. It's small but really nice. The food and drinks are different. The service is amazing, ask for Brooklyn as your server, you can't go wrong with her. The artist of the artwork in the restaurant works there. Try it out it awesome. Parking is tricky

Just visited for the first time last night. Got the Williams burger, clam chowder soup and Brussels sprouts. Overall the food is great here. The clam chowder was a bit on the salty side but the ingredients were very nice. The burger could use a better bun (brioche maybe?) but the meat was outstanding. The Brussels were definitely a new one with Parmesan cheese, bacon and walnuts. The sprouts themselves were perfectly crispy but I personally didn't love the bacon and walnut mix. It was a bit too dry. Daring attempt but I personally didn't dig it.
The atmosphere is very nice and has a bunch of hip decorations, and even for a Tuesday night the place was quietly buzzing. I'll definitely visit again.
