I've been eating these Burgers since 1987 when I moved into the neighborhood. I just love this place. From my time in Middle School, High School and my visits back from the military I always find myself back at Floyd's.
The wait time for any order is because they make them fresh right there and then. You can always call in an order and see how long it'll be while you wait at home.

Food was great... But the wait was terrible. So i get there at 1p.m, waited 1Hr to get my food then I confront the lady to ask about my order.
She was very rude.
& at first she charged me $6.50 then she charged me $7.80. I told her you can't just change the price that's your mistake not mine.
Terrible wait & service for my first time going their.
I can see why they're getting shut down. 👎

You get what you pay for. I paid $11 for 5 cheeseburgers, a large malt and large fries (emphasis on LARGE!). That's a LOT of food per dollar.
The burgers were disappointing. The patties were so thin (maybe 3 or 4 millimeters thick), all I really tasted was mustard. You could argue that the 5 for $4 cheeseburger deal made it worth it, but I'd rather go grab a burger off the McDonald's dollar menu.
The biggest con was the wait time. It's supposed to open at 11am. I stopped by at 11:20 on a Thursday. They were still in the process of opening. They weren't able to take orders until 11:40 because the grill hadn't even been turned on yet. Don't advertise an 11am start time if you won't be ready at that time. I wouldn't have wasted time sitting around had I known they didn't really mean it.
The rest of the meal was thankfully great. I was somewhat satisfied overall, but I probably won't return.
