Farias Park is popular among the neighborhood kids with two full courts, one which is covered to provide shade

It's a nice hidden overall park. Just bring your sandwich baggie of bleach wipes For wiping down tables you are going to be at. there are only water fountains but no sinks. Restroom is a port-a-potty near entrance.

This is a park in the inner city, not a big and open Park like Brackenridge or Hardburger parks. It's small, only around a few acres, has a playground, a few basketball courts and one that is covered. Down the road from San Antonio's Haven for Hope, some of them walk to this park but the Police know this and tend to police it frequently. The city has cleaned it up so it looks nicer and modern but being an inner city park, you can't always be sure who will be around you or what they're doing. For what it is, an inner city park, it does what it does well. Just know what you're getting into.
