Megabus was 30 minutes late for our ride from Sacramento to SF. Onboard WiFi was tested at 0.4 mbps download speed.

I took the 1120pm-6pm La- Oakland bus today. Although in my previous trips with megabus I was impressed with the experience this time I was very disappointed. The Bus had no air conditioning and the bus has no window. Temperatures were on the 90s on the bus, extremely hot. One person almost fainted a lot of people complained about being lightheaded or feeling sick. The drivers did the best they could to try to fix the air conditioning but were unable to. They also offered to let 8 customers get on another bus that did have air conditioning only if they were going to San Francisco which most were not.
About two hourse from our destination the bus overheated and broke down. We were stranded for 2 hours. The bus drivers were able to fix the bus on their own eventually and we made it to our destination over 3 hours late. Our drivers assured us we would get a refund and a free trip because company policy is any delay over 30minutes is the company's fault.
I called customer service as the drive instructed. The first time I was hung up on while explaining the events that had occurred. The second time I was put on hold so the representative could consult a supervisor because he was unsure of what to do in the situation. Bothe representative had thick indian accents and were very difficult to understand. The supervisor got upset when I asked him to repeat himself slower so I could understand him. He refused to give me a refund yelled over me would not let me speak to a supervisor and hung up in my face and refused to help me.
I was three hours late to an appointment. I came from Victorville California drove to La for two hours and then took what ended up being a 10 hour no air conditioned trip. I was treated so rudely from customer service I dont think I would use this service again.
To make matters worse I booked a trip to go back home the same day. I wouldve been able to get my appoint done and have hours to spare. Because of the 3 hour delay I have to pay another 50 dollars for a later bus ticket.
I do want to thank the two bus drivers who worked hard to accommodate us and were very understanding of the situation.

Super crowded. Made me feel claustrophobic. Reserved a seat and had to argue with someone for it. No staff anywhere. Gave 2 stars because I reached San Francisco from Sac one hour late. Never use again if possible.

Quick and inexpensive make sure your reserve a seat though.

My son has been waiting fornthe Megabus. I have called several times asking where the bus is that was supposed to leave Sacramento tonight at 6:15 heading to San Francisco. Different answers everytime. They can't tellme where the bus is and they cant get a hold of the driver. ABSURD!!! I ask to speak with a supervisor or upper management and each time I'm denied. Their phone operators tell me they can't keep me on hold that long as I keep insisting to speak with someone who can provide answers. They keep hanging up the phone. It's now 8 pm. Train and BART will be the best bet tomorrow. It's obvious the bus isn't coming despite the fact they kept telling my son the bus is coming. LIARS!!
