I called in an order on friday. It was busy, as normal. I placed my order and was told 20 mins. I arrived promptly 20 mins later. The order was not ready. Not a big deal, so I pay and wait. 30 mins later, one other pick up order shows and gets their order before me. I finally get my order at the same time as another patron who showed 15 mins after me. I'm not sure but it's better to let your regular patrons know their order was never placed in the que then to have them wait 30 mins and take their money while they wait.... Just saying.

I love The Izakaya! We get the bento box with pork tonkatsu and shrimp tempura, it's excellent. The pork is tender and the tempura has just the right amount of batter. The service is fast and efficient. We've been here several times and have never been disappointed.
