Small place, prices are bit higher than I would have expected, and I didn't love my meal. BUT, I am not a huge fan of BBQ sauce in general so that was my own issue and next time I will pick a different menu item.
The quality of the food was great, the employees were nice, and despite being a small place, I didn't feel crowded at all. If you like bbq, this place is definitely worth checking out.
It might be useful to note that the bbq sauce is on the sweet side. So if that's not what you like, be careful to not order something smothered in it (maybe ask for sauce on the side instead?)

Have been coming here for 8-9 years for our BBQ cravings. Favorites are baby back ribs, 2.0 Cheeseburger and garlic fries ( all fries are great). Staffs are friendly, place is clean, parking is spacious. Price is reasonable too.
Casual dining atmosphere and always hits the spot for my family.

A little pricy, but I like the food.
Some of the reviews are complaining because the ribs do not fall off the bone. I personally prefer to chew my meat off the bone because of this:
I've talked to BBQ business owners who tell me to get ribs to be fall off the bone tender there are two primary ways.
#1. Boil them before smoking them. This removes virtually most of the flavor of the meat so that you only taste the sauce.
#2. Cook them for a very long time, which has a tendency to dry out the meat. You end up with dry meat with little flavor that falls off the bone.
Another complaint I've heard from reviewers is the lack of a rub on the meat. Texas BBQ traditionally does not use a rub. Saint Louis style BBQ does. This is Texas BBQ as obviously stated by the name of the place.
Having lived in Dallas-Fort Worth for several years I've experienced authentic Texas barbecue. While I would not consider this the best that I've had, I can definitely call it one of the two best I've had in Sacramento.
I would suggest to try it for yourself. Again it is a little bit pricey but the food is good.

Perfect road house BBQ joint. Prices are ok, and portions are ample. Don't be fooled by an empty parking lot, this place gets busy. This is my BBQ place from now on... :)
