The ambiance is older. Mom and pop place. Had NY steak and eggs. Great steak cooked to order. Eggs done perfectly. Don't hesitate to go. Next to Jiffy lube. Waitress was happy and experience great. That's why 5 stars

I love the food here! And I love the ladies that work here. It's a small diner. It's old. It needs some new furniture and decor. But I don't come here for the furniture or the decor, I come for the food and the good service. Though we now live out of town, we still come up to Eggies for breakfast. I love their pork chops and eggs. I also recommend the chicken and waffles since you basically get half of a cornish hen. The food here is always so yummy! The service here is great. We get here pretty early, so the two waitresses that are here early are always so nice and happy to see us. This is by far my favorite place for breakfast in the Sacramento area.

The Reuben leaves much to be desired.
The Biscuits & gravy, excellent. The New York steak, poor, Grizzly and fat laden. Good cooks & service. Good coffee.

The food was exactly what I ordered and it was good. The server was friendly and attentive. We got lots of coffee refills. The place had a homey, casual atmosphere and the staff was friendly.
