I've been to this place twice and both times I had great experience with staffs and service. Great food and reasonable prices, well recommended.

Hands down one of my favorite go to lunch places. Fresh, flavorful and fairly priced food. Love the Mediterranean bowl!

Hard to see from street, even though it is right on the street with outside seating. Located next to Crest Theater, which is much more visible.
Beautiful expression of the owner's soul. All the murals were created by the owner. Every piece and placement discovered, to include the fountain, was created in the owner's mind and with his hands. A lovely person to talk with if you visit while he is there. Walking around throughout the cafe, is in part like walking around inside the mind of the owner.
The motif of food and surroundings is Mediterranean. Outside seating has both views of the sidewalk/street and of the Crest Theater Garden.
Near K street and 11th; 2 blocks from the state Capitol Building.
Both outside tables and inside seating are available.

I've been to Crest Cafe several times for lunch and it's always very delicious! Everything is just so good, I'll often get Mediterranean fries and add chicken shawarma on top, it's just amazing! I'll call in to place my order and it's always ready to go when I get there. Everyone's really nice and friendly. They really want you to enjoy your meal there. It's just a really nice place to go.

Just dropped in here on a Saturday night around 6:30 as we waited for a show to begin at the Crest Theatre. We were more than pleasantly surprised. Service was good, atmosphere was quiet, and the food was great. I ordered chicken with feta and some yummy sauce with a salad and my hubby got the chicken kabobs with a salad. Neither disappointed! Yummy! I plan to come back to try something else next time… heard the lamb is good.
