Very pretty, but also very crowded. Loud boats, and screaming is the mood here. Come very early or late in the day, and it's beautiful and peaceful.

Decided to tour the nearby park while looking at houses on west Sac. Looks like parking is free and boat launching is free. The shore looks soft and sandy and not too littered. The trees provide some nice shade along the water. There seems to be a kayak/paddleboard rental place there as well?
The park had a quite a few transients taking up the sheltered pic-nic tables and living in cars parked there otherwise I'd rate it 5 stars.
