Just FYI, this is a low income, tax credit residential property. I am a former maintenance employee here. They are doing good work helping the homeless problem in Sacramento and providing affordable housing for the poor. This property is managed by The John Stewart Company.

Substandard living conditions and very unsanitary. The restrooms are clean once a day if that and this building has mold.

The Shasta Hotel is composed of two buildings, the former Argus Hotel, and the Inverness Building, originally medical offices, later to become the Shasta. In 1994, the Shasta and Argus buildings were combined into one, and both buildings are now the Shasta Hotel.
The Shasta Hotel is managed by the John Stewart Company, which manages other buildings in the Sacramento area.
