Are you a parent looking for an apartment for your new college student, then AVOID THIS COMPLEX AT ALL COSTS!!!!! This is the most horrendous, most unprofessional, hot mess of a business I have ever stepped foot in and regret the day I signed the lease. My roommate and I lived here for a year and wish we could have left sooner.
Here are a few things I find worth mentioning:
Paint peels inside the apartments due to unkept maintaince
On move-in day, assigned unit was FILTHY
Management changes consistently and no one is professional in the office. Don't be fooled by men (for example "manager" Ricardo) in their 4-piece suits and fake nice secretaries at their desks, it's an act to lure in customers.
Leasing office looks great because they spent thousands of dollars on their renovation but could care less about their units. They are extremely run down and smell like weed.
Maintaince will not help you until 5 days later after request, once moved in we had to get almost all of our appliances replaced due to their old nature and not being fixed in proper time.
Emergency number does not work because their inbox is full.
Did I forget to mention we moved out in August 2017 and it's now October 2017 and I'm still waiting for half of my deposit?
We were told on move out day that we would not be charged anything as our unit was clean and we would both receive our full refunds back ($150 each). My roommate received her full deposit instantly and I received mine WAY after the 21-day deposit period and they charged me for a $75 medium cleaning.
Fast forward to October 2017 and I have complained to their "United Development Management Group" in San Diego and apparently will receive the other half of my check within the next week. I had zero help from the management office because they DO NOT care about their residents and it took me almost 4 months to even see my deposit. It is important to note that I have also complained to the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
They prey on college students and will try to scam you of your deposit with false cleaning fees.
Believe me, management here is scum and their professionalism is non-existent.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND IT IS NOT COLLEGE STUDENT SAFE.

This is one of the most horrid places I have ever lived. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you are in college, and go to Sac State, it might work in your favor, but other than that, horrible. The staff members change all the time so no one ever had their facts straight when ever I called into report an issue with my apartment, which took forever to get something fixed. Don't even get me started on everything wrong with the apartment itself. There was mold growing in the bathroom shower, carpets were a mess when we first moved in, which had to be cleaned a few different times, they shut the water off many times without much warning, our refrigerator leaked all the time. It took them months to finally come in and give us a brand new one, which they were bad at communicating when they would come to install it. They worked on their own time. I work a full time job and don't have time to take off, but I had to multiple times. They always had some sort of "maintenance " that required workers to come in and out of the apartment a few different times a week. I felt so unconfortable knowing my "home" was being entered on multiple occasions. Another major issue was parking. After a certain time, there would be no parking. If we wanted friends to come over, they weren't allowed to park, due to strict parking rules (which are bogus). Other issues that was a major turn off was the garbage bins and how they were always overflowing with junk and homeless people would be digging in there late at night. Overall, if you are looking for just location, this apartment will work in your favor. If you are looking for a nice, calm, "feels like home" place to live, stay as far away from this place as possible!!!!!!!!

This place needs a total revamp of their management and the way they handle operations/their tenants. They are a business first and a landlord third, they constantly drop appointments, lie to your face, and try to swindle as much money from your pockets as possible.
I did my final walk through and the woman said that it was the best place she has seen, nothing wrong. A week later I see that she actually wrote "light out, drawer broken, bathtub leaking, and a full paint job".
The only reason why I am getting my full deposit back is because they violated my rights as a tenant and renter and had people in my apartment renovating BEFORE my lease was up WHILE not giving me notification (They knew that I had moved out half way through the month and was in another location).
The renovations were taking out both the carpet and the kitchen vinyl and I have no doubt in my mind that they intended to charge me for everything.
FOR PEOPLE TRYING TO MOVE IN DOCUMENT EVERYTHING! Also, to help out the PEOPLE trying to LIVE here, i have attached a breakdown of their move-out pricing. Know your rights and fight back!
Be warned, they will try at nothing to get everything from you. I hope everyone who lives here finds a better place and company, you can do so much better then these people it's not even funny.

The renovations that they have been doing in the past year have been great. They added so many new amenities and are gating the entire complex to make sure it is safer and cleaner. I have really enjoyed living here.

I am so impressed with all the amazing upgrades the new owners are doing with this property. They have really put a lot into the property and I am very excited to be living here! I would say yes to all my friends, this is a great place! I can't wait to see all the new things that are being completed weekly!
