I needed to have some mercury amalgams removed and the teeth restored without using metal so I was looking for a holistic mercury-free dentist in Sacramento. I found Dr Grivas who is very qualified and I was also pleased to find out that he uses the CEREC machine which enables him to create crowns in-house so a mold does not have to be sent out to a lab requiring you to come back in a couple of weeks. I was able to have the total procedure completed with the mercury (silver) fillings removed and ceramic crowns installed all in one session. This was my first experience with this "one appointment" system and it was great. I highly recommend Dr. Grivas especially since he is using advanced technology such as digital x-rays, laser, and the CEREC machine to help him be very efficient. This appointment was completed in December 2011.

I was very pleased with the service, care, concern, and overall experience at this office. Dr. Grivas is friendly and welcoming. His staff is friendly, considerate, paitent, and overall, it was a fine experience. I had some periodontal work completed, which can be painful. The tech made me very comfortable. The work was quick, efficient and surprisingly, not unpleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Grivas and his practice.
Also, I'm quite impressed with all the high-tech equipment which makes the dental work, x-rays, etc., much faster and efficient.

Dr. Grivas and the crew Ludie =), Wendy and Laura are amazing!! My husband, my 3 year old and I were so comfortable!!! They treated us like family, Ludie and I even dished on the latest happenings on Gossip girl and House during my exam. Wendy is so delightful and is willing to put up with my million questions and Laura put my husband at ease while doing his deep cleanings. Dr. Grivas is funny, personable and great with kids. I'm so happy I found them!!!! I've referred all my co-works and family members!! Prices are great also!! I couldn't be happier =)

These are the words that come to mind when I reflect upon the experiences I had and will continue to have with Dr. Scott Grivas' dental office. For my first visit, it was a fresh feeling to walk through their door and be so pleasant and welcoming receptionist whose attitude set the stage for the rest of the appointment as I continued to meet more staff members who genuinely cared that I was there.
Not only was I pleasantly surprised when I was given a tour of the office, I was shocked to see how innovative Dr. Grivas' equipment was. From the Zoom teeth whitening machine to the laser equipment used to perform gingivectomies, it was comforting to know the latest technology in dentistry would be used for my care.
That very same day, I expressed my concerns to Dr. Grivas about the veneer work my previous dentist did and that I was very unhappy with the results. The determination in his voice combined with his command of knowledge in dentistry was enough to convince me to start a "new veneer" plan of action with his staff. Just a few weeks later, I was blessed with upper incisors to die for.
Thank you Dr. Grivas and the wonderful team that you lead day in and day out. Because of your work and guidance, I have a renewed confidence in my smile and flossing really isn't that bad anymore.
