I have been going to Long Pond Medical Group for at least 17yrs.
I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff at this group. Everyone there has had a part in literally saving my life!!!!

Has been my primary office for years now and I am just recently realizing the error of my ways. Medical staff who are overly swamped and underqualified. The answering service is an absolute joke. Requested urgent medical records THREE times and never got my promised call back. I will have to show up in person to see if that does the trick but this is absolutely disgraceful at this point. Beautiful office, nice staff, below average practice.

EDIT: MY REQUESTS AND CONCERNS THROUGH THE ANSWERING SERVICE WERE NEVER EVEN SENT THROUGH TO LONG POND MEDICAL. MULTIPLE CALLS ABOUT URGENT MEDICAL NEEDS PURPOSEFULLY IGNORED. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS BECAUSE THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT IS - A BUSINESS OUT FOR PROFIT. DISGRACEFUL.

I made an appointment for my yearly physical exam. When I called to make the appointment I stated that my medical plan allows me 1 free physical per year and that I wanted to schedule a physical. I did have some pain in my foot and asked that they look at that. I came in and the physician assistant looked at my foot and thought I had a bacteria in it. She referred me to Metro Foot care.
The next week I went to Metro Foot care and they stated I had a callus. He removed the callus and I no longer had pain in my foot. He also gave me some inserts so that I was less likely to redevelop another callus. I was very happy with Metro Foot care. I wish I had just gone to them in the first place. The only reason that I did not was because I get 1 free physical through my primary care physician.
The next week I received a bill $120 from my visit to Long Pound IM. I called Long Pond IM and asked why this visit was not counted as my one free visit per year for a physical. They stated that they did not give me a physical and just looked at my foot. I stated to them that I had originally requested a physical exam. They stated that this was not a physical and that I would have to pay the $120. Long Pond Medical was disingenuous because I had requested a physical and was explicit about only wanting to go if I could have this count as my one free physical per year through my health care.

You wait forever on the phone to get to talk to ANY ONE. I am changing doctors.
