I took my two grandchildren to the Tamale Factory, which I thought would be a nice treat for a Saturday afternoon lunch. I ordered 6 chicken tamales. The owner said she made the chicken tamales that morning and the reason she was opening each of my tamales to view the inside of them was to see if they are red or green.
When I took the first bite of my Tamale, I expected authentic homemade tamales full of flavor, spice, and a lovely sweet corn contrast. However, we all agreed that The Tamale Factory sold us tamales that tasted old, and possibly prepared days ago. The chicken tamales are dry and lacked flavor and juices from the natural chicken. In fact, the chicken tasted old, as if the tamales were prepared several days before being sold.
With that said, we have no intentions on returning to the Tamale Factory.

Ah, one best Mexican restaurant. I love the pineapple juice you get there. The owner is sweet, she will suggest best from the list. Salsa was amazing.

Keep trying tamales all over town-- then I stop in here and remember why they are *The* Tamale Factory yummy!

Delicious food, family owned and operated. I recommend the sweet corn tamales and the chicken enchilada casarole. If your in a hurry but don't want fast food, this is the place. They serve cafeteria style so it is very quick to get your food.

Come here every Tuesday morning for a networking meeting on the second floor and the venue is awesome. Great place to hold your next event!
