First visited when it was grand opening. Got a few recommended dishes by the owner. Fiercely hot but good. Got the lamb with cumin that he recommended. Went back and got the same thing several times since then. Didn't know what region of Chinese food it was but Hot! Read a rave review of a restaurant in Alhambra, rosemead, and Rowland heights called Chengdu taste. Paid a visit there over the weekend. It's the same food as Gooda Place!!! Now I know it's Szechuan cuisine. And Gooda is cheaper and right in my backyard.
It's not your typical Chinese food . be forewarned. Read up on all the reviews on Chengdu Place. Save your money and time then go to Gooda place instead. You will be glad you did.

Overpriced , small portions and not even the dog would eat it. Ended up buying pizza don't waste your money. Reheated leftovers. I would give it 0 stars

the food was nasty over cooked and under seasoned paid 25$ for 2 ppl to eat and it was a waste of money save ur money go somewhere else!

The quality of the food is great and authentic, if you are tired of the homogenated food with lousy quality and small portions found at panda then try this place. It tastes better, costs less, and they give genourous portions.
