I have read others reviews, and know that I would not allow my mother to be in a facility for 3 years where people are not properly cared for. Every patient is fed and checked on to the best of the staff's abilities, and oversights or problems are acknowledged and handled. A lot of the problems I have witnessed are not due to staffing problems, but simply put, patients often come to Cypress Gardens from their home or other places where they are accustomed to one on one attention and instant response. The staff handles requests as they are made - first come, first served, unless the need is of an urgent or emergency nature, and I have found that many patients and their families expect instant results, which is not always possible. Patient non compliance is another issue that causes problems and delays to other patients, and patients and their guests need to realize there are many more things going on that they are not aware of. I spend approximately 6 hours a day with my mom, and have almost every day for over 3 years, and as an ex volunteer firefighter with Riverside County, I have seen and experienced nothing that would cause me to not recommend Cypress Gardens to anyone I know, or cause me to move my mother to another facility, but I also have a working knowledge and realism of a medical nature and medical priority. My mother is always my priority, but I realise that her needs do not trump the needs of all the other patients, all of the time, and sometimes she will not always be instantly attended to, but when she tried to get out of bed on her own and fell, the staff instantly responded to her roommates calls for help. I commend all of the staff and administration of Cypress Gardens Care Center, who all do what they should, the best that they can humanly do.

Not a good place because they denie the staff of time off when they are expecting survey which is not right

My mother is in this facility and insist say, I am extremely happy with the staff. They they are respectful to my mother and anything I ask for is done right away. Before coming to this place my mom was in the hospital and she hated it. she cried everyday. when my mom got to cypress gardens everything about her changed. She is very happy and recovering well ❤

Words cannot describe how awful this place is. My grandmother was not fed, not even the food that my family brought for her. She was given water in a container that was too heavy for her to pour. When she arrived at cypress garden, she was walking and talking; within a week, she could no longer walk and her voice was a whisper. My grandmother is not the only person this has happened to. She has now passed and two-weeks later, they have yet to sign a death certificate. Please, do not leave your family member here.

I wanted to take this opportunity to complement the TEAM at Cypress Gardens for providing my Mom's support in her recovery. When you look for a facility to care for a loved one it truly is a very difficult experience to make the right decision for a great facility. Most of the time you have a very short window from hospital to facility to move your loved ones. I was very lucky to find Cypress Gardens. Overall, a great experience. From the onset of meeting Carol in Admissions I felt very comfortable with making the choice to have Mom recover from her illness at Cypress Gardens. The team is loving, caring and trying to help each patient. They truly try to make your loved one's experience the best. They are very friendly and have lots of activities for the patients to provide balance for everyone during their recovery. I would strongly recommend this facility. I also wanted to complement Tiffany the RN that worked many of the shifts that I was there with my Mom. She is very hands on and always trying to meet and exceed the expectations for the patients and my Mom. I could always rely on Tiffany's follow through with my requests and I was ALWAYS a very active health care advocate for my Mom. If you are looking for a facility that will take good care of your loved ones, take a very close look at Cypress Gardens Care Center.
