I've been to Xtra's a few times now and have chosen something different each time. Haven't left disappointed! The starter "The Best Bruschetta" isn't a play on words, but indeed has got to be the best bruschetta I've tasted. It's a simple appetizer but theirs is full of flavor without being over the top. Most recently had their Black Angus Cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Oh, the sweet potato fries are just delicious! Cinnamon sugar sprinkled on the fries...and yes sprinkled and not smothered. Some places put too much sugar on it and ends up tasting more like a dessert than a side item. The burger was cooked medium well as requested, so yes there was pink in the middle...it was a thick burger too, with toasted buns. I had leftovers from the bruschetta and actually added that perfect tomato mix on my burger and it was the best burger I've ever had! Also recommend the Lime pepper tuna on ciabatta with their slaw- yum!! Why keep reading, go check 'em out for yourself!!
P.S. they have a brunch menu too and I hear that "Xtra's Omelet" is very tasty!!

The food was absolutely amazing!! Had nachos and they were fantastic. The staff is great and friendly. Good place in carytown.

Extras has Pleasant staff with good service. It can be difficult to get a seat outside. However, the atmosphere is Pleasant throughout the entire restaurant. They have good food, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a good selection of beer and wine. If you are there for breakfast, try the mimosas, they are very good!
