Wife and I ate here before meeting some friends. Very good food, busy but is to be expected in this area of town. We sat at the bar and we're pleased with service. I would recommend a side of sweet potato fries or the Brussel sprouts.good drinks selections as well.

First time visiting this restaurant and needless to say I am impressed from the very bright, airy and modern decor to the selection of items in the menu makes me wish to have one near where I live in northern Virginia. The service other tan the initial lapse in communication was great due to a friendly, bubbly waitress named Katie.
I do not like to eat out much but there were three of us and we were all very happy with our selections from the menu. It is difficult to communicate how good the food was on writing it is better if you go there yourself and try it out.
Ohh .....before I forget they also have bar which did not get to try but the Belgium beers we had with our meal were excellent.

Really great restaurant! I ate breakfast here and Got the bowl of pastries. They were to die for! Warm and sweet but not too sweet. The blueberry component ( on the side) was delicious too! My americano was smooth And made perfectly! Will come here again.

I used to be a huge fan of The Daily. It was one of my favorite restaurants in Richmond. Though, the past 8-10 times or so I’ve gone here (in hopes of things getting better) the service and food has been very inconsistent. My favorite thing to order was the fig & beet salad. It was at one point my favorite salad in Richmond. The first few times I had it it was wonderful! There were an abundance of beets, figs, pistachios and goat cheese. Now though, I order it and it’s about 4 beets or so with a pinch of cheese and a couple figs. It depends on who’s making it. I’ve had to order more cheese every time I go and it is an up-charge. Now, I don’t think the salad is worth the price anymore. They have wonderful servers, you just have to get lucky to get one that is attentive and pays attention. We always have better luck sitting at the bar.

Happy hour boasts some crazy good deals and the menu should cater to just about anything taste. Almost all items have the option of being vegan or gluten free for those who have dietary restrictions. The environment is very aesthetically pleasing and modern-feeling, and we felt welcome from the moment we walked in. Will definitely be back!
