I just hope people don't think that it's just another restaurant in a Hilton and they need to go out to do better. They cannot. It's truly good news for Hilton to be attached to this five star asset.

Our office hosted our annual staff dinner here this summer. The meal was okay...the time in between courses was way too long. Best thing about the experience was the wait staff.
I coordinated the entire event. I had spoken with one of the owner's Andrea, via phone and email on several occasions, prior to the event.
The night of the event, after our meal, I wanted to thank Andrea and formally introduce myself. While approaching the bar and seeing her, I asked one of the waiters if he would tell her I wanted to speak with her. Here I stood for at least 10 minutes waiting for her to approach me while she is sitting at the bar looking at me and continuing to indulge in conversation with her husband. When she finally approached me, it seemed as if she were not interested in what I had to say but only wanted to know how we found out about HER restaurant. I have heard rumors that certain people of color are treated with disdain here and her approach only confirmed this rumor. We were a very classy and well-dressed group. This is 2017....."judge people by the content of their character". What you have today can be taken away from you tomorrow.

Went here on Monday for lunch. We had one of their specials for the day, a lamb ravioli, the gnocchi, and the desert trio. Everything was delicious and it was easy to see that it was authentic and homemade Italian food. They serve a generous portion and at a very good price. I would definitely come back again.

Delicious. Went with my wife for our wedding anniversary. We had a three course meal with wine pairing for each course. The staff was very friendly.

For our anniversary dinner my wife and I were extremely excited about this dinner. After reading the reviews we had high expectations. However, THIS WAS TERRIBLE. The service ranged from arrogant to incompetent. One of appetizers was so terrible we sent it back and asked that it be removed from the bill. The caeser salad tasted like a salad kit but we ate it along with the stale bread basket because we were starving at this point in the process. We were 90 minutes in when we got the salad and we had to ask for the stale bread and cold congealed olive oil mixture. All the other tables were given the bread upon arrival. We got that far in the meal hoping that the next thing would be better. That the service would turn around. That the salad would be wonderful. It didn't and it wasn't.

We left before the entrees arrived and asked to pay for what we tried to endure. The floor manager proceeded to try and make it seem like the problems were ours and not theirs. She walked away and upon her return simply dimissed me. Thankfully we didn't have to pay for this. Silver lining??? I have never in my life walked out of a restaurant mid meal.

One waitress attempted to remedy the situation. She was kind, polite, and competent. Thank you to her.

Finally, my wife is five months pregnant and cried the whole way home.

Can't wait for next year's anniversary, where La Grotta won't be involved.
