A wonderful, no-kill shelter in Reno with a caring professional and volunteer staff spanning the age spectrum from the teens to maybe 90.

My family adopted a kitten from this facility he was 2 months old and he got sick. Respiratory infection, we took him in and the doctors here sent him home after an hour of treatmet, they told us he was fine. Our kitten passed away few days after that. All they told us was that they were sorry. Our lose could be effecting this review but on top of not doing there job properly they neutered a kitten that was too young which led to his infection he was too young to even regulate his own body temperature. He's was still a baby. I'm not writing this to make people hate this facility. I'm writing this so that the people that work here do better and be better

First off loved that the kennels had a water spritzer for outside to keep them cool. Pick a few dogs and found the perfect one out of the three. Every person we encountered was very nice and informative. With little to no hassle got the perfect dog who is now living with love and luxury.

I have adopted two beautiful cats from this facility; a handsome seal point Siamese and a loving but hairy Calico. This location has many beautiful cats. So- if you are looking for a cat, start here.
A very happy Sandra Ratliff.

I can tell the people in charge of funds here spend it very intelligently. This place seems very well-run, greatly set up, and functioning perfectly! It was so nice to see all of the cats and dogs of all sizes and ages, ALTHOUGH pugs and kittens aren't too popular. 4 stars because litter boxes are not clean for the most part.
