We have a friend who has a timeshare here at the Legacy and she allows us to use it from time to time. This time while in Reno we just decided to pay for a room and stay here. The manager is very friendly and helpful as is the rest of the office staff. Grounds are well maintained and clean. It's an older building like much of Reno, however it's nicely renovated. The rooms have always been very clean and comfortable. The location is good and right next to the river with all of the casinos and restaurants being within walking distance.

Pool was shutdown and they changed, or as they would put it, "upgraded" my reservation to two ajoining rooms. I made the reservations here 3 weeks ago because I wanted a nice area separate from the sleeping area to hang out in and so I could go swimming. Was not able to do either of those things. When I got into my room it was freezing because the window was left open. I shut the window and could immediately smell the reason house keeping had left it open-days old garbage left under the sink in the garbage can. It stunk so I had to put the garbage can with the moldy old sandwich in it in the hall.
Next morning I go to talk to the front desk because surely there is something they can do it make me feel better about my stay. Nope... nothing.. I can file a complaint. Pretty crappy. Only thing I can say is the staff wasn't rude and I didn't get bed bugs.

I got a really great deal for a week at this "resort." It is not really a resort. The pool was closed and with 4 kids that sucked. The room was clean but the fridge quit working while we were there and we had fish frozen in it from a fishing trip that cost as much as the room so that was a bummer. I had to call 3 times to the front desk for toilet paper and got a rude response from the front desk staff. They don't clean during your stay and after a week with six people in the room it needed to be vacuumed at least. Also, we were here for the BMX Nationals and they wouldn't let us park our trailer of bikes at the "resort." So I guess what I am saying is there really is never a great deal and you get what you paid for.

It a nice place and quite. The staff very nice. The beds are comfortable. I believe new mattress. The furniture a little dated but comfortable..updated Tv in living room and bedroom. Walking distance to casinos.Showers are good.

Maybe after 5 nights camping in heat and mosquitos, the fact that I needed a place to stay at 11:30pm after 7 hours of being in the car, with 3 kids sleeping in the back puts this place in my favor, but for one night passing through this had everything I needed! Clean beds with a bedroom door, 2 bathrooms with amenities, warm shower, a kitchen to store and prepare all my cooler food. We checked in late and the very nice security guard Paul was jack-of-all trades, kept watch as I brought my kids in in by one and accommodated me with parking. Plus it was walking distance to the 3 things we most enjoy in Reno: The Discovery Museum, Peg's, and the co-op. As long as my car isn't stolen or towed when I go down, I would stay here again!
