This is an amazing restaurant. I loved the food and the amazing different choices. The deserts were absolutely amazing. My husband had the tirimasu and it came with a table side demonstration. I got one of the ice cream dishes and could not believe how good it was. We will definitely go back!

We went for lunch on Saturday, very quiet, loved the decor. The "small plates" were more than enough to share. The bread salad was beautiful, the duck larb was good. My boyfriend got the deviled eggs and beef carpaccio. No complaints!

I'm in love with this place. It's always difficult to choose which small plates I want (they're all amazing) so I have to come every time I'm in Raleigh for a couple days. The almond ice cream is a must-order. So good. Sometimes service can be slow though, so plan to hang out for a bit and have a leisurely meal.

I was here a few months ago and it was a wonderful experience. It was a date and it was romantic. The restaurant was not very busy while I was there but I was also there towards closing time. The waiter was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed sharing plates and the specialty drinks were tasty. The restaurant was very well decorated. It was nice to see a more modern setting.

Update: I keep coming back to this place to try and figure out why it only has 4 stars. After a few visits, trying random items on the menu and taking friends to see if I'm missing something, I still hold true to my original review:
This place is one of the best restaurants downtown. I have no idea why it only has 4 out of 5 stars. The food is fantastic!
Quick facts:
1. There is plenty of outside seating
2. You can make a reservation
3. Food is up-scale so it is a little pricey.
4. The menu is broken up into small portions (appetizers or light eaters), large portions (a healthy sized entree), large bowls (good portion meals in a wok).
5. The food has an Asian flare mainly but there are recipes from all over. I got an Asian style steak and my wife got an Argentinian meal.
6. Knowledgeable bar
