I attended this school from 91-93. I was there when Tupac came and Magic Johnson. I fell in love with the family unity that I felt while here. Me and some of the people I met are still in contact over 20 years strong. I am now back as an adult learner which is awesome. The professors are awesome and learned. They care about what they are doing even with limited resources. The school needs a lot, is tru, but that all falls back on the ALUMNI. Help make this school great again because not only does it have a rich history but it offers a brighter future to some who would never of had a chance to feel college life. If you went to Saint Augustine's College/University then support it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have seen a lot of successful people that had their start here so now is your chance to allow another kid enjoy the "GOOD" that the school has to offer.

My Alma Mater, what can I say, best years of my formal education, made friends for life with my sorors at Delta's very own ΓΡ. Prepared me for law school and for life!

Drove through on a summer Saturday. I met the President and Vice President while passing through. If you can feel love for an HBCU then you know the challenges these men face daily. Money is indeed needed but it was clear to me that those men love St. Augustine and want to see it flourish. If I had pot of gold I would share it with them to see St.Augustine shine like the bright star that it is. I'm a SCSU Bulldog but folks that know about HBCU Pride?!!! Yep...I've got it for all that they have done and continue to do. God bless them all.

I visited the campus today & what I witnessed is what we dealt with and continue to fight for at NCCU...funding! I was hosted by the Head Football Coach Tim Chavous & Assistant Coach Jason Mai. They gave me a brief tour of a structure that is currently not in use but needs funds to be refurbished for their student athletes. They also spoke about wanting to bring in an accredited School of Nursing onto the campus in another building currently not in use! Coach Chavous said for the money it cost the students to attend the university every penny is used and still there is a deficit. He strongly believes that improvements to the football organization & adding a new school of nursing will help increase enrollment and sponsorship of the University. I agree & a witness that ideas set forth will indeed do that! I have pledge to help bring them some attention to get donations and sponsorship because we are all in this HBCU family together! Furthermore, I'm looking to see Senator Clinton & her family to send some support to St Augustine after she visited there this past Sunday to rally up voters for the current election! In Conclusion keep up the great work Coach Chavous and Coach Mai! It's always great to see the Staff directly involved in enhancing and campaigning for our HBCU's!

This school needs new management, because it's obvious the only thing they care about is the money. They have those kids living in unsanitary conditions. On move in day, yesterday, they didn't have the rooms clean, infested with roaches, have mold in the rooms, no a/c in rooms, door knobs, and light fixture not in working conditions. It costs over $13,000 per semester to live on campus, but the students are living in poor conditions. I'm not going to get up here and lie like some, because right is right and wrong is wrong. The president of St. Augustine should be appalled and use some of that money to fix those dorms to make better living conditions. I wonder will he let his child(ren) lives like this. It's a shame when certain people want to take short cut when doing business. When you make complaint to the staff, they act as if it's a norm and it's not unhealthy. Mold will make you sick and kill people. How is that not unsanitary and unhealthy? That's why it have a low rating. For the ones that think it's a great school to live, all I can say we all have a right to our opinions. However, I go more off facts though when I give my opinion, and choose to be completely honest, don't do any sugarcoating. St. Augustine in Raleigh, NC on Oakmont Dr. is nasty and very unprofessional, training is most definitely needed.
