Even though I went in at 7:40 AM, everyone was so welcoming and friendly, it made me so happy. I had the best dental hygienist, Caroline. She was so personable and good at her job. I've never enjoyed going to the dentist office, but Lindsey, Caroline, and Dr. Rodriguez made the whole experience so pleasant. The also have an amazing teeth whitening program! I'm so happy I chose this dentist office. I will never miss a teeth cleaning again!

I had a terrible experience at Cameron Village Dentistry. I have had the same dentist for as long as I can remember and found a new dentist once I moved to Raleigh. After reading reviews, I was looking forward to coming here. The front desk staff are great; However, the hygenist I saw was absolutely terrible. She couldn't get a good x-ray of my teeth and had to do several times, which I understood as they sometimes are hard to capture. I was supposed to be getting a cleaning, but she took forever to take measurements of the sockets of my teeth. She told me I have periodontal disease (WHAT?) then had the dentist Dr. Shireman come in and confirm this. They told me I'd have to pay for a deep cleaning out of pocket ($60) twice a year to prevent the gum disease from getting worse. This visit took a total of 2.5 HOURS! I scheduled an appointment and at this visit I had a fill-in hygienist who works at another office (weird). She told me I do not have periodontal disease and told me that Dr. Shireman is known for recommending treatment that patients don't need. She then (finally) cleaned my teeth. I switched dentists because I do NOT trust her or her staff!

Dr. Shireman and her staff go out of their way to make sure their patients are comfortable, and they are perfectionists in their work. I have had numerous silver/mercury amalgams removed by them and have had two caps as well, and I was treated like a king each time. Awesome place!
