Came here because it was the cheapest place I could find for a brand-name prescription - BYU's health plan doesn't cover them, so I was going to have to pay out of pocket, and it wasn't cheap.

A pharmacy tech found a loyalty card for the medicine, though, and saved me nearly $140. Will come back, and definitely recommend this place to others.

This pharmacy is great! The staff is very friendly and willing to help. Most of all I love the speed! There are times that my prescription is finished before I even finish talking to the pharmacy technician when I drop off my prescription.

I'm not sure what these bad reviewers are talking about. I've only had great service at Central Utah Pharmacy. They are so fast an even go out of their way to find discount coupons. They've saved me a lot of time and money. Great pharmacy!

I've used this pharmacy for many years. They're convenient to the clinic and work. They answer all my questions. Refilling through the phone system is easy and the prescription is always ready for me. I've never had a problem with their service or their staff. They are business like at the counter, I'm in and out with minimal delays.

When there has been a restriction on a specific drug with my insurance, they have found a work around. Even though there was still additional out of pocket for me they found a solution that met my immediate needs while still having my insurance cover all that it should.

The other thing I like is I don't fill out questionnaires at the register or get grilled about my prescriptions like I have at chain store pharmacies.

I was told by my doctor that this was a great pharmacy and that it was the only place that would compound my prescription. The doctor was very wrong on both counts. Every time I went to the pharmacy there was some kind of problem with my prescription. The technicians and the pharmacist couldn't seem to understand the billing process with my insurance and made multiple mistakes.

The last time I went in the pharmacy refused to bill my insurance, claiming that the insurance wouldn't pay enough. They insisted that I pay the full cash price. I spoke to them about this for quite awhile and finally had an interesting conversation with the pharmacist. He told me that insurances were continuously trying to rip them off so he had the technicians check every medication to see if they should charge the full cash price to the customer instead of running it through the insurance.

Needless to say, I looked for a different pharmacy after this. I was happy to find that Rock Canyon Pharmacy would make my compound. They also actually contacted the insurance and worked out a fair deal that was satisfying for them and for me. They were able to work with my insurance instead of against it.

I will never go to Central Utah Clinic Pharmacy again.
