Went in search of medical care after having serious chest pain, only to be told that not a single doctor was even there. How is it, that at 3pm on a week day, no one can help you with a potentially fatal problem. Thanks for nothing, I'm sure glad Molina takes 260 bucks from me each month

Dr Michelle Hall and the nurse I seen today are absolutely so sweet caring and amazing the Dr got right on what I went for she was very nice and you can tell she truly cares about her paicents I needed blood done and 3 shots the nurse was very quick and it was the most painless visit I've had as far as needles I love this clinic when you walk in it's all good vibes the women up front are also very nice I'll definitely be back next Dr visit I need :)

I believe this to be a very fair review, as I will explore both pros and cons of this plan. (That I can see, anyway)
Firstly, I would not recommend Molina to any friend of family member. We are switching to an insurance company that charges double what we paid with Molina, just to save some headaches with customer service.
I've dealt with their customer service several times this year going through the process of adding our newborn to our insurance policy. Not only does it take about 10 minutes to get connected to the department that you need after drowning in a sea of automated options, but I found that often the people at that department didn't know what I was talking about and I'd have to be transferred around several times until someone would try to help, which makes every phone call last about 45 minutes. (And this is for something as simple as finding out what breast pump would be covered by our policy or questions about adding a dependent to our policy.) Having a baby affects your taxes, so when they failed to send me critical documents and canceled mine and my child's coverage without my consent, I was penalized on my taxes. In trying to sort this all out with Molina on the phone, I've been hung up on a few times and have found out that the customer service representatives had put inaccurate notes into my case file when I would call, making me sound like I just called to complain or work the system - though I assure you, I've been more than polite on the phone and have only ranted to my husband and on this review. :)
All that being said, Molina may be a good option for you if you're not planning to have any medial procedures during the year. They were a great, cheap option and were pretty easy to work with during simple doctor visits at the beginning of my pregnancy. I never had trouble with things being covered. (You have to know your plan well - they tell you up front what is and is not covered.) But beyond that, they've been nothing but stressful and irritating. Obviously, you don't plan for some medical emergencies, but if you are planning to have a surgery or a baby or something of the like, I would keep looking for another insurance provider.

Molina has always been very helpful with my family and getting us in their schedule last minute. You can feel that Michelle genuinely wants to help you, along with the rest of the staff.

Michelle Hall is the first Doctor that I have gone to that I actually listen to .. and I have seen a lot of doctors in the last 12 years .. all of the personal there are very kind and they treat you like a person not chart number. Just want to tell them Thank you for your help
