June, I'm sorry I didn't show up for my facial/hair appointment on Monday. I needed to take care of a personal issue and was not able to call at that time. There is no excuse for not calling to cancel my appointment. Please send my apologizes to Kris also. I called this morning to personally apologize but I assumed it was you who hung up on me. I am sorry if I made you that mad so I decided to write a review to make peace. I noticed you charged my personal bank account $255.00 for my missed appointment. I feel even worse now but I understand why you charged my account and will not dispute this charge. From our conversation last month I know you need the money which makes me missing that appointment even more terrible! Please, try to make it thru the holiday season because things might turn around. :) You seem to have a "volatile and complex" personality... is this why in the past year you have had 4 different receptionist and down to three employees? Please keep up hope but please, be nice to the customers who come thru your door. I know I felt like you talked down to me and that I was doing you a favor by going to your business. I guess a customer shouldn't feel that way, right? Finally, in this holiday season, try to mend your relationship with your family. While everything is falling apart around you, your family is all that you have left. Please call them. God Bless you, your family, and your business. (Please cancel any remaining appointments I have with your business as I feel this is for the best interest in all, thank you)

Relaxing and clean. I came in visiting from out of town and got a therapeutic massage when my friend had to go to a doctors appointment. The massage was pretty good, I wasn't in any big need, just wanted to relax while I was waiting. Looks much better on the inside than out. If I was back in town I would go again.

I have been going to Tranquil Waters occasionally for many years. There are many things that feel good about going but there is something that is just falling short of making the experience feel "pampered." Although I can absolutely use a massage monthly, I am only able to go maybe twice a year. So, when I go I want to feel like a princess. Tranquil Waters has set up the right environment but I feel rushed when I go. There is not an element of "take your time", "stay and relax as long as you want", etc. There is a time period to change your clothes at the end and a goal of selling a product to you before you leave. It is obvious.

That being said, Kayla is amazing. I am prone to knots in my shoulders and back so i schedule therapeutic massages. She provided a great consultation and massage but everything else was the Tranquil Waters way.....there is just a sitting room with a glass of water at the end...and you maybe get 5 mins before having to go back to the real world. Other spas offer a steam, a sauna, a comfortable place to continue your experience a bit longer....not a push to the door to buy something and schedule your next appointment.

In short - the services are good but the experience could be A LOT better.

I've been to Tranquil Waters on a few occasions for massage, once for a facial, and once for a manicure. The massage therapists were very good each time (different people) and I loved the facial-- it came with a hand and forearm massage that was unexpected and awesome! The place is much cuter on the inside than on the outside. The massage rooms were warm and comfortable and had nice relaxation music playing. I didn't enjoy the manicure quite as much, but it was fine. I would definitely go back, especially for the spa services.
