The lobster and crab cakes were to die for. They were the best crab cakes I have ever had. I had the fish tacos and my boyfriend had the chicken gyro and both were amazing. The zucchini fries were also delish and light. The oysters come with two different sauces and are wonderfully fresh. We went for lunch and the prices were appropriate for the quality of the food. The service was wonderful as well. Our server Alana? was very attentive. I was happy that we included this in our short trip to RI.

Relatively brief visit for late night dessert in the bar area, thus the four stars for now. Service was prompt and appropriately reserved. Overall ambiance was elegant but not rigidly so. Excellent central location.

We we're in town to visit RISD so I thought I would take my daughter for some fresh local seafood. I don't think anything we ate was either. The clams casino appetizer was basically some overcooked rubbery clams drowning in breadcrumbs. She ordered the stuffed lobster special and it too was basically overcooked seafood drowning in breadcrumbs. I'm not sure how but they took the real flavor out of the seafood. My scallop dish was good. There were also several fruit flies that kept bothering us while trying to eat. One landed in my wine. I very nicely told the waitress who said she would inform the Manager. I never heard another word about it again from anyone. I would hope for dropping $120 on dinner (for 2 people) that I might at least get an apology or free glass of wine. Overall I was disappointed in the meal. Perhaps we had an unusual experience.

My sister and I dined here last night for our birthdays, which are in close proximity! The food was great and the atmosphere is always amazing but what really made our night was our server, Theresa! I have been working in F & B operations for over 10 years and have never had such service as to which we received last night! She was text book phenomenal! Our night was made so special by her amazing attention to detail, knowledge of the menu, and stellar recommendations! I've always had a great experience at this restaurant but I would rate last night as the best service I've ever had! If you read this, request her when making a reservation! If you are part of upper management or ownership, you have a gem in Theresa, I can't rave enough about what a special evening my sister and I had!!!
