This is my second time have Botox injections with Dr. Karkalas. She is superb! No bruising, bleeding or swelling. She is very attentive to needs of her patients and does exactly what she says she is going to do.
She is extremely trustworthy and I don't feel like I am being "upsold" in any way. She is a cosmetic genius.

People of color should stay away from these HIPPA violators. I was told I was a student twice, even though I am not do not look like one, it was hard for them to believe I was faculty. I filled all paper work online as asked. They could not find it when I arrived and asked me to fill it out again on an iPad. I said no, I am not doing it twice. The big fat man at the desk said I will not be seen today. I asked for Dr. Karkalas. He said she will not see me. Her assistant came out and said she would get her. I went to pour myself coffee when, the big fat man said "That coffee is not for you, that is for patients." I am a patient," I explained." "No you now," he said. "Please leave the office, or I will have to call the police." "That is fine," I said. He then jumped up and called the police while standing at the desk. The doctor came and I explained to her a lady called that morning asking me to fill out paper work. She said that it was her. She said forms would take 20 minutes to fill out. They only took 4, and it was over 30 minutes by the time I arrive at the office, and they still were not in her system. I explained to her the behavior of her assistant, for which she did not apologize. She said I needed and id and insurance card. I had a passport with me, however, I was told the previous day I did not need the insurance card, because they found me in the Delta system, and mine had not arrived in the mail yet. Dr. Karkalas told me who the lady was that I spoke to and insisted that I need that information. Sensing the ridiculous level of hostility, complete lack of understanding and compassion, and quick urge to call the police on me as a black man, I asked her if she was racist. She became very offended and said she would call the police right away if I did not leave. I said "he already called the police." She went on to explain they treat all types of students. I said "I am not a student." She then explained how they are a high tech facility. I told her if she was guilty of nothing, then she did not have to be so angry. I also told her that I would recant this story to my lawyer. She said "Yeah, and we have all your information and we will be sharing it with your employer!" This statement is in direct violation of HIPPA.

I normally fear the dentist! I walked into their nice cozy office and was greeted right away with a warm welcome. Staff is very friendly and very professional at the same time. I was instantly comfortable there and I highly recommend them to anyone!
