The Met has by far the worst location for a venue, although there are two massive parking lots and have permission to use them, you still have to walk some ways back to the venue, on top if you are not familiar with the met its behind a courtyard and you have to walk up a very poorly designed deck while the employees are constantly using people in line as door holders walking in and out of the doors CONSTANTLY while you are in line for your show, not to mention I got 3 different emails from this venue all 3 being about a time change for my show 1 being THE DAY OF THE SHOW. Once I got into my show I noticed they had very poor security (never mind two police officers that maybe checked 2 bags?) Im 18 years of age and they forgot to stamp my wrist (for alch), rookie mistake but its okay I have to show my ID to get a wristband and with it "im over 21" according the sign they have. Well my friend offered me his wristband because he just went back and said someone ripped his off during the show without showing ID twice he got another wrist band and I had one as well (but of course I didnt drink). Poor system however. Meanwhile Im trying to enjoy my show and I think the tech guy who messes with the sound, and speakers, was by far the most disrespectful person I have ever met, he had yelled at me and cussed me out for pushing a speaker maybe a few inches forward from 80+ people wanting to see cousin stizz and pushing up against me and the stage, me paying $55 for a show and this tech guy who gets paid to do what he does is yelling at me for pushing a speaker? I do not recommend this venue for those that like rap concerts because rap concerts will never go good here. Last thing I forgot to mention was how close the sound guy was to the stage and there was no booth for him it was just out in the floor allowing for people to mess with him and I actually heard him cussing those people out as well but thats a little more understandable but all in all theres a lot of problems going on and it takes a little noticing. All in all there are much better places to get excited about. 1/5 would not come here ever again.

Great small venue. Ample street parking down side streets. Clean bathrooms. Staff could be more attentive

Smaller venue brings you closer to the artists and a energetic atmosphere. Gives opportunities to locals as well as bigger names to perform.

Was always a good venue but since they moved and redid the stage a couple of years ago it's awesome.
It's big for a bar environment (capacity 500 I believe) but still small for a concert venue. The sound is really good and there isn't a bad spot in the place. If you get there early you can get a table along the back wall and be up on a small riser so you can see over the crowd. If not, anywhere you stand you'll have a good view of the performance.
The only small knock is that parking is on street so you may have to walk a bit. But it's a great venue.

I dig the venue. This would be a 5 star review if it weren't for an experience I recently had there. At least two of the bartenders could use a lesson in customer relations. There is no need for a bartender to get cantankerous with a customer just trying to get a drink. If you're having a bad night don't take it out on the customer.
