Since Dr. Mackowiak has left the day-to-day practice, it seems like the office has grown more chaotic and more and more work put on vet techs so that you see very little of the actual vet. We have been plan participants for the last two years and are rethinking that as well as exploring other vet options. Office is clean, staff is generally friendly., vet techs and vets seem very knowledgeable. It's hard to tell what is covered under the plan and what's not -- there's always $ due for something on top of what you pay for in the plan.

Lots of staff turnover. The desk staff seems to make lots of little errors as well. We had several instances of scheduling tests and not being told about needing to fast beforehand. Ordering meds was also a frustrating process.
We recently had to put our pet down and did not feel it was handled well. The vet asked for our credit card while we were in the room- couldn't the person who had us sign off on our choice have take the card then. Also, they were uneducated and unprepared to answer our questions about his remains when I called ahead of time. And I had I not called ahead of time, they would have expected me to make those decisions in the room with my pet who I'm saying goodbye to? The vet's bedside manner for the actual appointment to euthanize was terrible too. Will not be coming back.

i do NOT recommend this vet clinic. I payed for a kitten bundle plan and was told that when the plan was close to expiration, i would be contacted to use up the remainder of perks that came with the plan. well they never called me, and updated my plan to an adult plan without my consent and charged me extra. when i called to question it, they said my kitten plan expired so they just updated it. to say the least i basically lost a total of $300 worth of vet services. they are nice and friendly but when it comes to paying about $450 to a vet and only receiving $100 worth of the bundle plan services, customer service means nothing.
also, when i had my cat spayed, they told me there would be no extra fees, that the kitten plan covered everything. but when i went to go pick up my cat, they charged me $115 for pain medication.
i would not recommend this vet at all. they may be clean and friendly but i felt as though they are not trustworthy nor efficient when it comes to keeping clients updated on services, that are, not only expensive but already payed for.

I brought in Sherlock and he was so comfortable here. Rebecca was so gentle with him and was such a sweet Vet as well. Everyone up front was so kind and even let me get settled in the room a little early. Overall it was a very good experience and everyone there was super knowledge and it was very personable. The visit went very quickly as well, without feeling rushed.

I love this vet. I have been taking my 2 cats and dog there for a couple of years. They have helped me work through diet, allergy and mange issues with kindness and a lot of listening. My animals are comfortable there and we trust the techs and doctors. Plus their animal plans takes away a lot of stress when it comes to emergencies and sicknesses. It's nice to be able to bring in my animal without having to worry if I can afford the appointment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Plus they are local :)
