Edan is a hair color GOD. I met him about 7 years ago when my hair was seriously damaged and I was in desperate need to both repair my hair and find a color formula that held my red hair color. He gave me an honest and upfront consultation, letting me know how much to trim off, the state of my hair and how many appointments it would take to restore my hair to a healthy state. He was easy to work with. Seven years latter this is the only person I would ever trust in Portland to color my hair. He now works out of Redefine Studio instead of his previous salon and I must say this new location is a big improvement. No salon drama to deal with, the space is modern and comfortable, and he is always on time for my appointments! Love this guy!

I have been going to Edan for 15+ years. I has always done an exceptional job cutting my hair. He takes his time to make sure each customer is happy with the final product. He also has his own wonderful hair care product line. I would highly recommend Edan and ReDefine Studio to all.

I truly believe Edan is best in class as a colorist and stylist in Portland. I have been a client for years and ever since he has been coloring and cutting my hair I consistently get rave reviews from friends, acquaintances and random strangers time after time. Patty does my brows and has whipped them back into shape over time and is always concerned with my comfort. They both listen to what the client wants and take the time to patiently explain why you may need to rethink if necessary based on their professional experience which is why you pay a professional right? If you are looking for a new stylist but are scared to try someone new, try out ReDefine Studio, you will not be disappointed... they are tucked away behind the Bikram Studio on Fremont.

Edan has been my stylist for several years now. He is the best man with color I've encountered and his cuts are consistently great. An added bonus is Exure, his very own hair care products—they're fabulous. It's totally a five star experience.

I've been going to Edan for my haircuts for almost 14 years now. When I first went to him he helped me change my hairstyle and has kept my hairstyle and haircuts current and looking great ever since. He's great to chat with and I enjoy his easy going manner and his great sense of humor.
My hair is very fine and really difficult to work with. Edan always takes the time to make sure I have a great haircut, and he knows how to handle the challenges with my hair. The few times I've had to visit somebody else, I've always had to come back to Edan to have him salvage the poor job they've done...and these were in fancy salons in major cities.
His new location is tucked away in a great little spot in the Beaumont Neighborhood. I highly recommend going to see him and find out what you've been missing!
