Have come here many times to see Meachell for the best haircuts and color for my long hair. Rebecca is magical with her all natural facials that leave you relaxed and fresh faced. Best Salon in NE Portland.

I hate going to get my haircut at a new place, but I just moved and wanted to find a place closer to home. My experience here was quite good. The people I interacted with were welcoming and nice. It was super easy to book the appointment online and the hours are flexible enough that I didn't have to leave work early. The decor and the atmosphere makes it feel more like a day spa than a hair salon. I also like the product lines they use and have for sale... Davines and Kevin Murphy. I have naturally curly hair and got a great cut that I am still happy about, a few weeks after the cut. So, I'll definitely be going back. If you're looking for a new hair salon, I recommend you give them a try. Don't be nervous, if your experience is anything like mine you will not be disappointed.

I tried Red Magnolia as a departure from my usual downtown spot because I wanted a place in my neighborhood to get my haircut. Everyone is very friendly and the salon feels like a quiet retreat. Despite walking out of the salon with what seemed like a good cut, once I got home and used my usual styling methods, it was a disaster. The owner was great about doing a fix, which helped a little, but the cut is now just really short and terrible. The salon seems to specialize in longer hair, not structured bobs. if you have a long layered cut, I suspect they'd do a great job, but if you are looking for a precise, tailored bob this is not the place to have your hair cut.

i have always gone to trina and her work on my hair is flawless. she does partial highlights in record time, and cuts it just right, even tho i have somewhat tricky waves. the cherry on top is that she is quite personable. i came to portland and instantly found my spot; no reason to wander.

Sarah Bandy is an incredible stylist. I've been getting hair cuts from her for a few years, and I have never been disappointed. Sarah is also the most friendly and personable stylist I have ever used, which makes getting a haircut fun and relaxing. On top of that, she is affordable and she offers free bang trims in between appointments. If you want a haircut that will get you compliments, ask for Sarah.
